In the summer of 2017 Rori Hache had found out she was pregnant. In September her torso was found by a fisherman in Lake Ontario.
A 45-year-old Oshawa, Ont., man, Adam Jeffrey Strong, was found guilty of first-degree murder of Rori Hache on March 16th, 2021. He was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole for 25 years.
He he was also sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole for 18 years for the death of 19-year old Kandis Fitzpatrick. The sentences are to be served concurrently (at the same time) rather than in addition to each other.
