Julianne is the only woman on this list that is still alive. She was attacked while she was pregnant which resulted in losing her baby.
It happened in the summer of 2005 in Banff Alberta.
In the summer of 2016 her attacker was denied parole for a third time. He has been declared a dangerous offender. He was deemed a psychopath by his doctors.
His freedom was considered by the Parole Board of Canada again in August of 2018 – only weeks after he threatened to kill a female corrections officer. The decision read, “”[Muckle’s] level of risk would not be manageable in the community.”
In November of 2020 he was once again denied parole.
According to the last searchable bit of information on Julianne, she remains in a persistant vegitative state and cannot speak. She communicates with her father through her eyes.
