Below are the names and the faces of murdered pregnant women from the past three decades in Canada.
In Canada it IS NOT a punishable offence to kill a woman’s pre-born child during the commission of a violent act against her. Our legal system treats such a crime as if it is a perfectly legal abortion, when in fact NONE of these woman made this CHOICE.
Many of the sentences for those convicted of such abhorrent crimes are pathetically minimal. Many of the cases are not yet solved. But one thing seems to be consistent in all cases – the inclusion of pregnancy as an “aggravating factor” in any substantive way is not real. It doesn’t happen. It is a complete falsehood.

One thing is certain – these women did not die alone. Their choice – their baby’s lives – are ignored in the charges against their killers.
